Underwear Thief Stole 2 Packs From Kohl's: Cops

The unmentionables were valued at $36, police say.

SHIRLEY, NY — The hunt is on for a man who stole two packs of underwear, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers are asking for the public’s help to identify and locate the man who stole the Hanes underwear, valued at $36, from Kohl’s, located at 999 Montauk Highway in Shirley, at 10:15 a.m. on Oct 10, police said.

The man was described as white with short hair and glasses; he was wearing a black, short-sleeved T-shirt, camouflage pants, had tattoos on both biceps, and fled the scene on a bicycle, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the incident can contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers to submit an anonymous tip by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, texting “SCPD” and a message to “CRIMES” (274637) or emailing www.tipsubmit.com.
