81-Year-Old Man Seriously Hurt After Crashing Bike Into Moving Car
The accident occurred Thursday afternoon in Setauket, police say.
An 81-year-old man was seriously injured Thursday afternoon after he accidentally drove his bicycle into the side of a moving car in Setauket, police said.
The accident occurred at about 4:45 p.m. on West Broadway near Bridle Path.
Police did not identify the bicyclist, who was not wearing a helmet. He was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition.

The female driver of the vehicle was not injured and remained at the scene, police said.
