UPDATE: Missing Hauppauge Man Found Unharmed
Salvatore Iervolino suffers from Alzheimer's disease.

Update (9:40 p.m.): Iervolino has returned home unharmed, police say.
The Suffolk County Police Department has issued a Silver Alert for a missing Hauppauge man who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease.
Salvatore Iervolino, 78, was last seen on Middle Country Road in Smithtown at about 8:30 a.m. Friday, police said. Iervolino is described as white, 5-foot-4, 230 pounds, with brown eyes, and white-balding hair. He wears large wire framed glasses

Iervolino drives a 2002 grey Nissan Maxima with a handicapped New York license plate #503521.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about his location to call 911 or contact the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
