A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing 89-year-old St. James man who suffers from memory loss, according to the Suffolk County Police Department.

Frederick McGhee, of 609 Bentley Court, was last seen at his home at about 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
McGhee is about 5-foot-9, 145 pounds with blue eyes and white hair.

He left his home in a gray 2003 Toyota Camry with NY plate AVH 8442, possibly wearing a royal blue jacket and black hat, police said.
Anyone with information on McGhee’s location is asked to call 911 or the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
