The Queen of Mobile Cuisine to Lend Her Expertise to 9/11 Responders Celebration

On Saturday , September 6th , 2014 beginning at 10am , Long Island Celebrity Chef Gail Chandler of On the Scene Cuisine and A Cake Lady Creations and her staff, will be amongst those paying tribute at the- 9/11 RESPONDERS REMEMBERED FLAG DEDICATION CEREMONY and THE UNVEILING OF THE NEW NAMES ADDED TO THE RESPONDER REMEMBRANCE WALL AT RESPONDERS PARK at Gibbs Pond Rd. & Smithtown Blvd. There will be TWO LIFETIME HONORARY MEMBERS AWARDS Presented. One for Legislator John & Leslie Kennedy and the other for Thomas Fricke from Frick Memorials, in celebration of their Courage, Honor and selfless Sacrifice.
It is said, “THEY HAVE NOT FALLEN, BUT STAND BRAVE AND TALL IN OUR HEARTS!” On 9/11/2001 this great country witnessed its worst terrorist attack ever on American soil. We lost 2,751 innocent lives to senseless violence. During our nation’s darkest hours, the resolve and testament of the American people were tested. From the toxic dust, rose heroes; true American Patriots. These were men and women, uniform and non-uniform, who risked their lives without prejudice, to ensure the safety of our nation. Since that dark day in history,hundreds and soon to be thousands have lost their lives to 9/11 related illnesses; giants amongst heroes taken from us too soon. The 9/11 Responder Remembrance Park is being dedicated to those brave souls to show their loved ones and families that their heroic actions will never be forgotten. Etched in stone, their names will always be remembered, their courageous actions imprinted on our hearts FOREVER!
It is because of this, that Celebrity Chef Gail Chandler of On the Scene Cuisine and A Cake Lady Creations, Long Island’s supreme private catering service has decided to donate both her time, culinary expertise and a supply of light refreshments ,at this specific event, in the way of excellent coffee and pieces of Patriotic ‘REMEMBRANCE’ cake, to those supporters in attendance. It is her way of giving back to those that she feels an immense sense of pride and respect for.
Celebrity Chef Gail Chandler is the Queen of Mobile Cuisine and will be working out of her amazing Suburban Culinary Vehicle at the park site that morning.
