Smithtown East Grad Wins $30K on Jeopardy!
Amanda Boitano will appear on the show again on Friday.

Smithtown native Amanda Boitano pocketed a cool $30,401on the game show “Jeopardy!” during Thursday night’s episode.
Boitano, whose victory Thursday means she will compete again on Friday’s episode, graduated from Smithtown High School East in 2009. In a promo for the show called “Hometown Howdies,” Boitano introduces herself after a Jeopardy-format answer of “This Smithtown East Grad Is Going To Be On Jeopardy!” Watch the clip below.
Boitano is currently an English teacher in North Carolina, according to her LinkedIn profile.
