Get Involved in SoHo: January Schedule for Community Board 2 Meetings

SOHO, NY — Want to get involved in your neighborhood? Community Board 2 (CB2), which represents SoHo, Little Italy, West Village, Greenwich Village, NoHo, Hudson Square, Chinatown and the Gansevoort Market has announced the schedule of January meetings.

The board's January meetings are scheduled for the following dates and locations:

Jan. 5 at 6:30 p.m. at NYU Silver Building, 32 Waverly Pl. Room 208: Traffic and Transportation meeting to discuss L-train/Canarsie tunnel reconstruction concerning 14th St., L Train-route closing, potential impacts, and mitigation on side streets.

Jan. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at Village Community School, 272-278 W. 10th St. in auditorium: Quality of Life meeting to discuss renewal of sidewalk cafes and street activities.

Jan. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at Little Red School House, 272 Sixth Ave., Auditorium: Schools and Education meeting to discuss risks to federal funding for NYC public schools.

Jan. 10 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 151-155 Sullivan St., Lower Hall: SLA Licensing meeting to discuss licenses for restaurants that want to sell alcohol.

Jan. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at NYU Silver Building, 32 Waverly Pl. Room 208: Land Use and Business Development Meeting to discuss building and zoning permits.

Jan. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 151-155 Sullivan St., Lower Hall: SLA Licensing 2 to discuss licenses for restaurants that want to sell alcohol.

Jan. 12 at 6:30 p.m. at NYU Silver Building, 32 Waverly Pl. Room 208: Landmarks 1 Meeting to discuss different building upgrades.

Jan. 19 at 6:30 p.m. at Scholastic Building, 557 Broadway, Auditorium: Full Board meeting to hear reports from the Chair, District Manager, Borough President and Standing Committees.

Jan. 24 at 6:30 p.m. at 3 Washington Square Village, CB2 Conference Room: Social Services Meeting to discuss the clothing drive at Henrietta Hudson's and plan for Senior Action Day.
