Men Snatched Woman's Purse Right Off Her Lap On Uptown E Train: NYPD
The purse contained $550 in cash, glasses worth $250 and her court clerk shield, police said.

SOHO, NY — Police are searching for two men who grabbed a woman's purse right off her lap on the uptown E train the night of Jan. 9.
At about 8:30 p.m., the two suspects snatched the 56-year-old woman's bag, which contained: $550 in cash, glasses worth $250 and her court clerk shield, police said.
The men then ran out of the train at the Spring Street stop, police said.

Police are still investigating the incident.
