12th Annual Polar Bear Plunge, Walk to Take Place This Weekend

The event is a fundraiser for the Human Resources of the Hamptons.

The Human Resources of the Hamptons will be hosting their 12th annual Polar Bear Plunge and Walk this weekend.

The event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 12 starting at 10 a.m. at Cooper’s Beach in Southampton Village.

The walk will begin at 9 a.m. from the beach parking lot.

Plungers can begin registering at 9:30 a.m. and walkers can begin registering at 8:30 a.m. at the Pavilion.

Proceeds from the event will go towards helping the Human Resources of the Hamptons to raise money for the Food Pantry which feeds about 350 local families.

In order to walk or plunge, a minimum of $25 donation must be given. Participants can collect donations from sponsors to cover the registration fee.
