2 Busted for DWI in Southampton Town: State Police
Troopers cuffed the drivers, who were stopped for traffic infractions, police said.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — New York State Troopers busted two drunk drivers in Southampton Town over the wekend, police said.
- On Friday, Susan L. Palmer, 40, of Flanders, was arrested after a traffic stop for not having active tail lamps on Springville Road in Hampton Bays, just south of Montauk Highway, New York State Police said. An investigation and standardized tests revealed that Palmer was intoxicated; she was arrested and charged with DWI, police said. Palmer was held for an arraignment in Southampton Justice Court on Saturday, police said.
- Cupertino Pedro-Simon,30, of Flanders, was arrested on Saturday on Route 24 after being stopped for moving from his lane unsafely, police said. Investigation and standardized tests revealed Pedro-Simon to be intoxicated; he was arrested and charged with DWI, police said. Pedro-Simon was released and is slated to appear at Southampton Justice Court on Sept. 13.
