Breaking: Drunk Teen Driver Crashes Into Car, Flees on Foot: Police
The Sag Harbor teen was apprehended moments after attempting to flee the scene, police said.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Sag Harbor teen drove drunk and crashed into another car before trying to flee the scene on foot, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, Camilo Naanch-Wajarai, 19, was arrested on Monday at 8:05 p.m. on County Road 39 in Southampton and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, and traffic infractions, and multiple other traffic infractions.
Naanch-Wajarai was involved in a reportable motor vehicle accident with another vehicle, no injuries, and fled the scene on foot; he was apprehended minutes later and subsequent investigation revealed he was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition, police said.

He was arrested at the scene, transported to police headquarters for processing, and held for morning arraignment, police said.
