Carleen Ligozio Relocates to Jobs Lane
Southampton Village women's boutique gets a new storefront.
Carleen Ligozio's namesake boutique has moved — but not very far.
The women's clothing and jewelry store was located on Main Street in Southampton Village and has now opened at its new location just around the corner, at 16 Jobs Lane.
"When you step inside the store you are immediately transported to exotic locations like Jaipur India; Bali, Indonesia; Buenos Aires, Argentina," blogger Christina Rueda of "Style Wise Trend Foolish" wrote last year. "She also features some amazing American designers. Carleen also designs her own line of luxurious clothing, which is made in New York."
Ligozio, a Fashion Institute of Technology graduate with an MFA in textile design and fabric styling, worked as a buyer in the home division of Saks Fifth Avenue prior to starting her own brand in 2003, according to her LinkedIn profile
The store's former space has since been taken over by Shari's Place, which opened before Memorial Day.
