East Quogue Man Caught Driving Drunk With Marijuana: Police

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — An East Quogue man was caught driving drunk and with marijuana last week, police said.

According to New York State Police, George E. Sullivan, 25, of East Quogue was arrested on Feb. 15 and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop for moving from lane unsafely on County Road 104.

Sullivan was transported to the New York State Troopers barracks in Riverside, processed without incident and provided a breath sample of .20 percent blood alcohol concentration, police said.

He is due back in Southampton Town Justice Court on Feb. 27, police said.
