Anne Porter (1911-2011) was an accomplished poet and wife of the artist Fairfield Porter. Her first collection of poems, “An Altogether Different Language,” was a National Book Award Finalist, and her most recent publication, “Living Things: Collected Poems,” was praised by Publishers Weekly. Join us for a reading of her poetry performed by fellow artists and friends. A video interview with the poet conducted in 2011 will also be presented, as will Rudy Burckhardt's film “A Day in the Life of a Cleaning Lady,” which stars the Porters and Larry Rivers. Free with Museum admission.
