Flanders Man Shot on Shinnecock Reservation: Police

New York State Police are asking for the public's help to apprehend the suspects.

A Flanders man was shot on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation in Southampton on Saturday, police said.

According to New York State State Police, Riverside barracks, an investigation is taking place involving a shooting that took place on Little Beach Road on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation in Southampton early Saturday.

The victim, a Flanders man, 33, suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg, police aid.

The two suspects fled on Little Beach Road in a dark colored Jeep SUV and are described as one Hispanic male and one light skinned African American male.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to please call the State Police in Farmingdale at 631-756-3300.
