At the time of the arrest, Avery was in possession of acetaminophen and oxycodone, according to police.

He was charged with fourth degree criminal mischief and two counts of seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said.

He was processed and released on a $500 bail. He is scheduled to appear in Southampton Village court on Oct. 26.

The investigation is ongoing.

On his Twitter page on Tuesday, Avery posted what looks like a list of prescriptions with the caption: “Pretty disgusting I even have to do this but unfortunately it’s the same old story.”

He also posted a video of what appears to be a police officer possibly yelling at someone with the caption: “Southampton’s finest.....I just happened to drive by and these #Heroes had their machine guns out.“
