He needs a Forever Home.

I rescued “Atik” (pronounced “ah-TEEK” ~ Turkish for smart agile boy) because he needed to be taken out of a very messy situation; both literally and figuratively. I HAD TO do it or I would not have been able to sleep that night or many nights thereafter.

He is, aside from being a best friend, an excellent guard dog. He will protect you from intruders and will let you know if anyone is near your home.  He is a dog who needs to be handled by only one or two persons, at most. He was trained that way. He has been neutered, housebroken, micro-chipped and all his vaccines are up to date. He eats good grain free dog food and organic treats. He is well taken care of because he deserves it. He also requires a decent sized fenced-in backyard. He is medium-sized and. He needs to run. A good diet and exercise is essential to his well-being. He weighs close to 70 lbs. If you have small children, he is not the dog for you. 

I am not able to have him as my forever dog because of my health. I am not physically able to walk him or handle him. My medical condition is getting worse and I need to find him a good home to go to. When I rescued him, the plan was to get him adopted ASAP. However, I am a stickler for detail and that‘s been the delay. How much to adopt him, you ask? He is priceless.
