Help Sought to Catch Possible Burglar Who Jacked Jewelry Store: Police
The man is wanted for questioning, police said.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A man is wanted for questioning after the burglary of a Southampton jewelry store last month, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Southampton Town Police Department are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person, police said.
A person broke into Southampton Jewelry Exchange, located at 801 County Road 39, on July 6, police said.

Detectives are looking to question the man, who was seen in the vehicle shown, about the case, police said.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
