ICYMI: Sagaponack Woman Reported Missing

Police are seeking the public’s to help find a Sagaponack woman who went missing in East Hampton on Saturday night.

Lilia Aucapina, also known as “Esperanza” Aucapina, 40, was last seen on Saturday, October 10 at 9 a.m. at 386 Montauk Highway in Wainscot, according to police.

Aucupina was reported missing later the same day at 9:20 p.m, police said.

Esperanza is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds, police said. She has medium length black hair and brown eyes, according to police.

She was last seen wearing blue jeans, brown boots, a black winter jacket, and had her hair up.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the Southampton Town Police Detectives at 631-702-2230 or 631-728-3400, send an e-mail tocrimetips@southamptontownny.gov, or call 911.
