Lindsay Lohan Gives Student Actors Shout-Out For 'Freaky Friday'

Wow! Southampton High School students doing a production of "Freaky Friday" got a video from Lindsay Lohan, wishing them luck from Dubai.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Students performing in Southampton High School's production of "Freaky Friday" got a surprise this week when actress Lindsay Lohan, who performed in the film in 2003 with Jamie Lee Curtis, sent the young thespians a shout out on Instagram.

"Hi, Southampton High School. It's Lindsay Lohan. I just want to say it's such an honor and a thrill that you guys are doing my film 'Freaky Friday.' I'm so excited. I thank you from the cast of 'Freaky Friday.' I thank you," Lohan said. "It's such a privilege and an honor. And just follow your dreams. I know you're going to do a great job, but I hope you're the best," she said, blowing the students a kiss. "God bless you."

According to TMZ.com, which first posted the video, Lohan's father, who lives on Long Island, saw a flyer for the show and told Lohan, currently in Dubai.

"Freaky Friday" is a film about a mother and her teenage daughters who wake up one morning to find out they've switched bodies.

"Freaky Friday" opened at Southampton High School Thursday night; remaining showtimes are Friday, Feb. 7 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Southampton High School is located at 141 Narrow Lane in Southampton. Admission is free.
