Man Busted for Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Drugs Following Southampton Traffic Stop: State Police

Kyle V. Azille is facing four felony charges, police said.

A Middle Island man was cuffed on Saturday after a traffic stop revealed he had an illegal weapon and drugs, police said.

According to New York State Police, Kyle V. Azille, 29, was arrested on New York State Route 24 in Southampton Town after a traffic stop for inadequate plate lamps.

He was charged with criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a felony, as well as criminal possession of a controlled substance in the third, fourth and fifth degrees, felonies, police said.

Azille was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation, police said. He was arraigned in Southampton Town justice court and release on $1,000 bail, police said.
