Man Caught With Controlled Substance After Bridgehampton Traffic Stop: Police

The driver and his passenger were both also found to have marijuana, police said.

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — A Rocky Point driver was nabbed after a traffic stop in Bridgehampton and found with a controlled substance, police said.

According to New York State Police, Dylan T. Amatokraebel, 19, of Rocky Point, NY was arrested on Feb. 7 and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop for illegally tinted windows on Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton.

He was issued an appearance ticket and is due back in Southampton Justice Court on March 1, police said.

His passenger, Daniel R. House, 20, of Rocky Point, was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, released on an appearance ticket, and is due back in court on March 1, police said.
