Man Charged With DWI Had His Child In Car: Police
He's facing a felony charge, police say.
FLANDERS, NY — A Southampton man arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated Sunday had his child in the car, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, Segundo Chilenocunchi, 38, was arrested at 7:41 p.m. on Flanders Road near Red Creek Road after he was seen failing to maintain his lane. Chilenocunchi had been driving while intoxicated with his child, who is under 15, police said.
He was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI, a felony under Leandra's Law; misdemeanor DWI; and misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child, police said.

He was taken to Southampton Town police headquarters in Hampton Bays, where he was processed and held for morning arraignment, police said.
