Man Charged With Felony DWI After Crash: Cops
He crashed in Flanders and found to be intoxicated, police say.
RIVERHEAD, NY — A Riverhead man was arrested after he drove drunk and was involved in a crash in Flanders, police said.
According to New York State Police, Juan A. Lopez-Ramos, 38, was driving north on County Road 105 on Dec. 16 at 5:36 p.m. when he crashed.
Upon further investigation, Lopez-Ramos was found to be intoxicated with a BAC of .16%; he was arrested, charged with felony driving while intoxicated, and held for morning arraignment in Southampton Justice Court, police said.
