Man Charged With Felony DWI In Riverside: Police

He was seen stopped on the road and impeding traffic, police say.

RIVERSIDE, NY — A Lindenhurst man was arrested Saturday after he was seen stopped on the road, impeding traffic on County Road 104 in Riverside, and was found to be intoxicated, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, the incident took place at 11:04 p.m. Jeffrey Jermon, 39, was determined to be driving while intoxicated, police said. He was arrested and charged with felony DWI, due to a prior conviction, as well as numerous traffic infractions, police said.

Jermon was processed at Southampton Town Police headquarters and held for morning arraignment, police said.
