Man Stopped for Illegally Tinted Windows Caught Driving Drunk: Police
The arrest took place Saturday, police said.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Southampton man was arrested after he was caught driving drunk on Peconic Avenue in Southampton, police said.
According to New York State Police, Jose N. Bartolon-Velasquez, 24, was charged with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop Saturday for illegally treated windows; investigation and standardized testing revealed he was intoxicated.
He was released and is slated to return to Southampton Justice Court on Nov. 30, police said.
