Missing East Quogue Teen Found 'Safe And Sound': Police
BREAKING: Police reported Saturday night that Jayda Trent, 16, has been located safe.
EAST QUOGUE, NY — An East Quogue teen who has been missing since Wednesday has been found safe, police said Saturday night.
According to Southampton Town Police, Jayda Trent, 16, was located "by the Southampton Town detective division, safe and sound" in Mastic.
According to Southampton Town Police, detectives were investing the disappearance of Jayda Trent, 16, of Lewis Road on Friday; detectives believed she may have been in the Riverhead or Westhampton area.

Her parents reported her missing on Wednesday after she climbed out of her bedroom window and left home; she has run away several times in the past and foul play was not suspected, police said.
