New York State Police Blotter: 3 Arrested, Facing DWI, Drug Charges, Cops Say
Three individuals are facing either drug or DWI charges after arrests last week, state police said.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — New York State Police arrested three motorists during the past week and charged them with drug and alcohol related offenses, police said.
According to New York State Police, following are the arrests made during the past week:
- On Jan. 30, Luke F. Irace, 30, of Woodbury, was arrested and charged with driving while impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop on County Road 105 in Riverside, police said. Investigation and standardized tests revealed Irace to be impaired by drugs, police said. Irace is expected back at court on Feb. 13, police said.

- On Friday, Joseph Centeno, 38, of Mastic, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop for failing to maintain his lane on CR-31 in Westhampton, police said. The traffic stop was the result an investigation of an erratic vehicle complaint, authorities added. Investigation and standardized tests revealed Centeno to be intoxicated; he is due back at Southampton Town Justice Court on Feb. 14, police said.
- Edwin Velasquez, 27, of Flanders, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop for failing to maintain his lane on Flanders Road in Flanders, police said. Investigation and standardized tests revealed that he was intoxicated; he was held for an arraignment, police said.
