Driver Hospitalized After Car Hits Pole: Police
BREAKING: The eastbound lane was closed until further notice after the crash, police said.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A driver was hospitalized after he crashed into a pole on County Road 39 in Southampton Wednesday afternoon, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, the driver was heading east at approximately 1 p.m. and hit a pole at 850 County Road 39, near Bottle Hampton Wine & Liquors.
The driver was taken by ambulance to Southampton Hospital, police said.
