Police: Man Charged For DWI in Southampton

A Southampton man was arrested on a DWI charge in Southampton early Sunday morning, according to Southampton Town Police.

Fredy Castro, 25, was stopped while driving on St. Andrews Road after he was seen making a right turn without the use of the appropriate signal at about 4:50 a.m., police said.

He was found to be intoxicated and arrested, according to police.

He was charged with DWI and first degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, according to police.

Castro was held for morning arraignment.
