Police Seeking Man Wanted For Breaking Into Southampton Homes

The man was caught on video at a home where $200 worth of cat food was stolen, police say.

Police are seeking the public’s help in finding and identifying a man who broke into residences in Southampton in last month.

In September, a man entered an occupied home on Barkers Island Road in Southampton, according to police.

Later the same day, the same man was captured on video at another home in the area where $200 worth of cat food was stolen, according to police.

He may be driving a gray sedan, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
