Police Warn Residents to Expect Traffic Delays During Triathlon
The race will take place on Sunday.

Southampton Town Police warn local residents to expect traffic delays during the 34th Annual Mighty Hamptons Triathlon this weekend.
The event will take place on Sunday September 20, between 6 a.m. and 11 a.m. starting at Long Beach in Sag Harbor.
The bike and running portion of the event will be held on several roadways in the Sag Harbor, Noyac, North Sea, Water Mill, Bridgehampton and North Haven areas between 6:30 a.m. and 11 a.m.

A large number of people are expected to attend and traffic delays should be anticipated especially on Noyac Road, Majors Path, Head of Pond Road, Scuttlehole Road, Brickilin Road, Stoney Hill Road, Long Beach Road and Route 114, according to police.
Motorists are urged to drive with caution in these areas during the race.
