Reward Offered for Info On ATV Stolen From Southampton Home: Police

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — The search is on for a suspect who stole an ATV and who's now wanted on a grand larceny charge, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person or people who stole an all-terrain vehicle from the yard of a Southampton home earlier this month, authorities said.

The culprit stole a 2009 Yamaha ATV from the yard of a residence on Majors Path on January 3, police said.

The ATV had a broken rear wheel at the time of the incident, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
