Sag Harbor Elementary School Celebrates Earth Day
The students participated in several "green" events and activities in honor of Earth Day.

In honor of Earth Day, over the past few weeks Sag Harbor Elementary School hosted several events and participated in several activities to help the environment.
Local parent and Sag Harbor School Board trustee Diana Kolhoff recently spoke to students about pollution, global warming and wastefulness as part of Sag Harbor Elementary School’s Acts of Greenness campaign for Earth Day.
Kolhoff’s presentation was followed by an Earth Day activity in which students pledged an Act of Greenness and to bring ‘no trash’ lunches to school throughout the week of April 27.
