Sag Harbor Lions Club will serve a Corned Beef dinner to benefit East End charities.

The Sag Harbor Lions Club will hold it’s St. Patrick’s Corned Beef Dinner on Thursday, March 17th, 2016 in the Social Hall of the Old Whalers’ Church at 44 Union St. in Sag Harbor. The dinner service will begin at 5:00 pm and end by 8:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased online, from the link on our Facebook page or our website’s Projects page or at the door the night of the event. Don’t wait until the last minute to have your Éirinn go Brách dinner!

Your donation for this Irish-American traditional dinner is $20.00. It will include succulent sliced corned beef, savory cabbage, potatoes and carrots, with classic Irish Soda bread on the side followed by coffee, tea and dessert. Adult beverages will be available for a donation of $5.00 each. Local musicians will perform traditional and popular songs throughout the evening in an open mike format. The dinner is prepared by Cromer’s Market in Noyac.

All of the net profits from the Corned Beef dinner will go to East End Hospice, The Sag Harbor Community Food Pantry, The Lions Eye Bank and to our Scholarship Program to graduating seniors at Pierson High and the Ross School. This fundraising dinner is just a portion of the Sag Harbor Lions effort towards fulfilling Lions Club International’s Centennial Service Challenge, which has the goal of serving 100 million people by June 2018. Lions Clubs are celebrating the organization’s centennial in 2017.
