Man Killed in Water Mill Crash Involving County Bus
The driver lost control of his car due to icy conditions, police said.

UPDATE:
Police have identified the man killed in a Water Mill accident on Friday morning as 27-year-old Cesar Marin of East Hampton.
Southampton Town Police officers, detectives, the Suffolk County Medical Examiner, and the Bridgehampton Fire Department and Ambulance responded to the scene of a collision between a Suffolk County Transit bus and an SUV at about 6:50 a.m.

Marin was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV westbound on Montauk Highway when he lost control of his car due to icy roadway conditions and veered into the eastbound lane striking a Suffolk County Transit bus head-on.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and transported to the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The bus driver, 50-year-old Andrzej Jaglowski, of Riverhead, was transported to Southampton Hospital by Bridgehampton Ambulance where he was treated and released for non-life threatening injuries.
The New York State Department of Transportation Motor Safety Unit responded for a safety check of the bus.
The SUV was impounded to police headquarters for a safety check and further investigation.
No criminal charges are expected to be filed.

Several people were hospitalized after an accident between a transit bus and a car in Water Mill on Friday morning, police confirmed.
Police received the call of the accident at about 6:50 a.m.
Officers are still at the scene and the section of Montauk Highway remains closed. The closure is expected to last about two hours.
The injured people were transferred to Southampton Hospital but there is still no word on how many were injured or the extent of the injuries, police said.
