“The Long Island area brings in the most coffee sales in the entire country,” said Laura Gordon, vice president of marketing and brand innovation for 7-Eleven. “Winning the title of Coffee Queen two years in a row is not easy and takes hard work and dedication.”

In a statement released by 7-Eleven, DeFelice said: “It is wonderful to be crowned the Coffee Queen two years in a row. It just shows the strength and support of this community. I love the people who frequent my store and I truly appreciate their businesses. I couldn’t do it if it wasn’t for my wonderful customers and staff. My Dad, who started as one of the original 7-Eleven Franchisees and opened this store more than 40 years ago, always said that coffee was our liquid gold. He was the original king of coffee and it means the world to me that I get to carry on my Dad’s legacy.”
