Detectives received information that one man was allegedly responsible for both the assault and the criminal mischief incident, police said.

As detectives conducted the investigation, Alamo arrived at Southampton Town police headquarters, under the false guise of looking to bail out an associate, police said.

He was apprehended without incident in the parking lot at Southampton Town Police headquarters, police said.

Through subsequent investigation, Alamo, police said, was charged with:

- One count of second degree assault, a felony, after the incident that occurred at the West Montauk Highway, Hampton Bays private residence, police said. The victim and the defendant are acquaintances and the act was not random violence, police said.

- One count of third degree criminal mischief, a felony, for the incident in the Hampton Bays trailer park, during which he smashed the window out of a private residence, police said.

- One count of third degree assault, a misdemeanor, and one count of second degree menacing, a misdemeanor, police said.

The charges stemmed from an incident during which Alamo was the "primary aggressor" in an altercation on Good Ground Road, during which he punched his victim multiple times, causing physical injury, police said.

- One county of third degree assault, a misdemeanor, after an altercation at the Hampton Bays 7-Eleven in September, 2016, during which Alamo punched a man he was "vaguely acquainted with", causing the victim to sustain physical injury, police said.

Alamo was processed and held for arraignment, police said.

Alamo’s acts of violence have not been directed at any random person as he has been acquainted with all victims involved, police aid.
