Southampton Hospital Volunteers Make a Special Delivery For Thanksgiving

The volunteers delivered food to the Human Resources of the Hamptons food pantry last Wednesday morning.

Volunteers from Southampton Hospital delivered food to the Human Resources of the Hamptons food pantry last Wednesday morning, just in time for Thanksgiving.

The special delivery was made by Southampton Hospital’s Director of Volunteers, Gerry Minerva and Hospital Volunteer Ben DiLorenzo.

Items included nonperishable foods collected during the Hospital’s food drive as well as 40 turkeys.

Kerry Lewendoski, Executive Director of HRH and her volunteers were on-hand to receive the donation through a special chute leading to the basement storage area in the pantry.

The hospital’s Holiday Food Drive will continue to run through Tuesday, Dec. 23.

Non-perishable items can still be dropped off at the donation bin located in the Meetinghouse Cafe, lower level of the Hospital.
