Southampton Town Reaches Agreement With Village Man in Fence Dispute
The man built a fence and hedges in a historical cemetery.

A Southampton Village man and the Southampton Town Board have reached a settlement after a dispute involving a fence and hedges being built in a historical cemetery, according to a report in 27east.
The man, Mirek Denis, one of the James Street property owners agreed to pay the Town $10,000 after admitting he installed deer fencing and a private hedge along the property, which is a cemetery for the earliest settlers of Southampton, 27east reports.
The fence has since been taken down.
