Thief Steals $400 Worth of Lobsters, Crab Meat from Hamptons Business: Police

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — The search is on for a thief who had a taste for the finer things in life.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and detectives from the Southampton Town Police Department are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the person who burglarized a business in Southampton in July, police said.

According to authorities, a person entered a cooler and stole approximately $400 worth of crab meat and lobsters from East End Clambakes, located at 590 County Road 39, on July 20.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
