Unlicensed Drunk Driver Busted: Police

The driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic, police said.

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY — A Southampton man was busted after he was caught driving drunk and unlicensed in Bridgehampton, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, Jaime I. Garcia-Pina, 32, was arrested on Nov. 23 at 6:42 p.m. after he was seen failing to yield to oncoming traffic while entering Montauk Highway. He was charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, third degree aggravated unlicensed operation, a misdemeanor, and moved from lane unsafely, failed to used designated lane, unsafe turn, and failed to yield to the right of way, all infractions, police said.

Garcia-Pina was transported to Southampton Town Police headquarters for processing and held for morning arraignment, police said.
