Unlicensed Flanders Man Busted for Marijuana: Police

The man was arrested on Friday, police said.

A Flanders man, 27, was arrested on Friday after police said he was driving without a license and in possession of marijuana.

According to Southampton Town Police, the man was cuffed at 10:08 a.m. on Mill Road in Westhampton.

He was stopped for a traffic infraction and a DMV check revealed that his driving privileges had been suspended, police said.

The man was also found to be in possession of a quantity of marijuana; he was charged with aggravated unlicensed in the third degree, a misdemeanor, and criminal possession of marijuana in the fourth degree, a misdemeanor, police said.

He was processed at Southampton Town Police Headquarters and brought to the Southampton Justice Court for arraignment, police said.
