What's Open, Closed in Southampton This Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day is almost here. It’s also the start of the holiday season.

This year, like last year, we only have 28 days between Thanksgiving and Christmas so you’ll have to cram in your shopping in a four-week period.

Thanksgiving will be observed on Thursday, Nov. 26 this year.

Check out what will be open and closed on both Thursday and Friday:

Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 26:

• Retail stores: Closed.
• Supermarkets, liquor stores: Closed.
• Convenience stores: Open at owner’s discretion.
• Gyms: Closed or reduced hours.
• Bars and restaurants: Open at owner’s discretion.
• Stock market: Closed.
• Municipal, state, federal offices and banks: Closed.
• Libraries and schools: Closed.
• Post office: Closed.

Friday, Nov. 27:

• Southampton Town Offices: Closed.
• Rogers Memorial Library open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.
