Woman Being Ticketed Pushes Police Officer: PD
She was being ticketed for parking in a fire zone and pushed the officer, police say.
SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A Hampton Bays woman was arrested after she pushed a police officer, authorities said.
According to Southampton Town Police, Leticia Guerra, 33, was arrested on Monday at 3:30 p.m. and charged with second-degree harassment, a violation, after she pushed a traffic control officer while her vehicle was being ticketed for parking in a fire zone.
Guerra was released with an appearance ticket to appear in Southampton Town Justice Court at a later date, police said.
