Woman Caught Driving on Drugs on Sunrise Highway: Police

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — A West Islip woman was caught driving while ability impaired by drugs in Southampton, police said.

According to New York State Police, Teresa A. Frankevicz, 54, was arrested on September 21 following a traffic stop on Sunrise Highway in Southampton after she was seen failing to maintain her lane.

She was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, police said, and is slated to appear at Southampton Town Justice Court again on October 5.
