Woman Caught Driving While on Drugs With Child in Car: Police

A Manorville woman was arrested under Leandra’s Law after driving while on drugs with a child in the car in Southampton, State Police said. 

Police stopped 35-year-old Kristen L. Slone for a traffic violation on eastbound Sunrise Highway west of CR-39 on Dec. 22.

She was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.

Slone was processed and held for arraignment at the Town of Southampton Court.
