Mohegan Pet Store Owner Faces Witness Tampering Charge
The Mahopac man was arrested by Danbury police on Friday.

The owner of a Danbury pet shop was arrested by police Danbury Friday morning.
Richard Doyle, 55, of Mahopac, N.Y., was arrested on an active arrest warrant for two counts of tampering with a witness. He was given a $10,000 bond.
He also owns a pet store in Mohegan Lake and one in Wappingers Falls.

The warrant stems from an investigation conducted by Danbury police detectives assisting State Animal Control. Further details on the investigation were not available.
In July, Doyle faced animal cruelty charges for failing to care for sick animals at the pet shop. Police said the arrest is in relation to the incident in July.
