Visitation, Service is Today for Isabelle Adams

Isabelle Adams of Purdys died Dec. 21.

She was born on March 26, 1923 to Purdy and Cora Miller in Ancram, NY. She married Kenneth Adams in 1939, at the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Carmel, NY.

She is survived by 4 children, Lee Ann Adams, Cora Outhouse, Kathleen Magnuson and Kenneth Adams Jr. She is predeceased by 2 sons, Philip F. Adams and George E. Adams. She is also survived by a brother and sister, as well as 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Isabelle spent most of her time as a housewife, but she is best known for her over 60 years of service to the Croton Falls Fire Dept.Ladies Auxiliary.

Visiting hours are 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. today with a service at 11:30 a.m. at Beecher Funeral Home, Putnam Avenue, Brewster, NY.
