Duo Charged With Selling Heroin In Syosset: Police
The two were also charged with selling the drugs that caused a Nassau resident to overdose last month, police say.

SYOSSET, NY - Two New York City men were arrested on Sunday for selling heroin in Syosset including drugs that caused the overdose of a Nassau County resident, according to Nassau Police.
An investigation involving 46-year-old Robert Johnson and 42-year-old John Roberts was being conducted for being responsible for an overdose to a local resident that occurred on March 11, and for possessing heroin with the intent to sell it in Syosset, police said.
On Sunday, Johnson and Roberts were arrested after a meeting was arranged by detectives at the Syosset Train Station, police said.

Johnson was found to be in possession of heroin, police said. Both men were placed into police custody without incident.
Johnson is charged with third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, police said.

Roberts is charged with fourth degree criminal facilitation, police said.
